LOST HER
About
Memory is a peculiar thing.
We spend our lives believing it is the foundation of who we are. We collect memories the way we collect proof—proof that we existed, that we loved, that we were loved in return. We trust them to tell us where we've been, who we've become, and why we are the people standing in front of the mirror today.
But memory has always had an unfair advantage.
It convinces us that our past and our identity are inseparable.
So what happens when the past disappears?
When names become strangers, familiar faces lose their meaning, and yesterday no longer has the power to explain today...
Does a person disappear with their memories?
Or do they finally meet the version of themselves that existed beneath them all along?
Perhaps we have been asking the wrong question.
Perhaps the mystery isn't what remains after memory is gone.
Perhaps the real mystery is what we choose to remember when given the chance to begin again.
Because somewhere between forgetting and remembering lies a truth powerful enough to rewrite an entire life.
And sometimes...
the greatest secrets are not the ones our minds hide from us.
They are the ones our hearts refuse to let go.
